We’ve Been Shortlisted for Two CMA Awards — What an Incredible Milestone!
We are beyond thrilled to announce that, in our first year of officially opening, we’ve been shortlisted for two highly coveted awards at the CMA Awards 2025:
Rising Star Award - Dr Ande Petrou MCMA IPHM NIMH
Innovator in Complementary Medicine Award
Being recognised by the Complementary Medical Association in two distinct categories is a huge honour — and a clear sign that what we’re building is resonating with the field.
What It Means to Be Shortlisted
To be considered in just one category would have been fantastic. To be shortlisted in both Rising Star, which recognises up-and-coming talent making a strong impact early in their career, and Innovator, which celebrates those pushing the boundaries of practice, is humbling and enormously encouraging. It means that not only are we making waves early on, but we’re also contributing ideas, methods, or services that the industry sees as forward-thinking and meaningful.
How We Got Here
Reaching this point has taken:
Hard work and commitment — From day one we’ve poured everything into delivering high-quality complementary medicine (therapies/products/treatments/services — insert the specific ones!). We’ve worked long hours, refined our methods, learned from early feedback, and stayed committed to doing things properly and with integrity.
Innovation & bold choices — Trying out new methods, or offering something a little different from the norm, hasn’t always been easy. Sometimes stepping outside the comfort zone risks criticism; sometimes it means more effort. But innovation has been at our core, and being willing to experiment (carefully), refine, and push ourselves has been vital.
Support & community — We couldn’t have done it alone. From supportive clients and users, to mentors, partners, friends, family, other practitioners, regulatory or professional bodies, suppliers — everyone who believed in us has helped us build momentum.
Learning & adapting fast — Since opening, we’ve had to learn rapidly: about what works, what people need, where things can improve. We’ve gathered feedback, invested in training or resources, adjusted where necessary, always keeping our vision clear but our approach flexible.
Staying true to values — Complementary medicine is about holistic care, ethics, wellbeing, trust. From the start we vowed to hold onto those values — even when the pressure is to cut corners or push for profits. It’s the values that root us, shape our reputation, and earn trust.
The Feeling of Recognition
Honestly, it’s a mix of pride, gratitude, excitement — and a bit of “wow, we’re doing this!” There are moments when you doubt: “Is this too ambitious? Is this risk too big?” So to see that two separate panels have said they believe in what we are doing — that our work meets criteria for promise and innovation — that gives an enormous boost.
It encourages us to keep pushing, keep trying new things, keep raising the bar. It also reminds us of responsibility — to continue delivering, to grow carefully, and to represent the field well.
What’s Next
We’ll be working hard between now and the Awards in October 2025 to keep our momentum up: refining, growing, ensuring our services/results are the best they can be.
We’ll be sharing updates, behind-the-scenes stories, and more about what innovation means in our context — because we believe sharing helps everyone.
